With 34 years of service, Elisabeth is one of our longest-serving employees. She knows the Finance & Controlling department from the ground up and has witnessed numerous changes in the company.

"I joined Electro Terminal two years after completing my apprenticeship. I received my entire accountant training here. The size of the team, currently consisting of 5 people, has hardly changed over the years. Our tasks have also remained largely the same: Primarily, we handle the company’s income and expenses and keep track of the related business cases. What has really evolved, however, is the level of technology and infrastructure: When I started out, we had no Internet, and invoices and receipts had to be manually entered.
Cooperating with authorities, handling tax issues, preparing balance sheets, analyses and reports, as well as dunning and collection are also crucial parts of our department’s work. Particularly in the dunning process, a polite but firm tone is required. We are also supported by our sales department and the area sales managers.
The most challenging time of the year is certainly the year-end closing. Our fiscal year concludes on April 30. By mid-June, we finalize our annual reporting. That’s a very short timeframe – a “window of opportunity” where we certainly keep busy.

What I truly appreciate about working at Electro Terminal is the cooperation with all departments of the company. We have a collegial environment with flat hierarchies. It's no coincidence that I've been with the company for 34 years."
