Alessandro, Head of our Stamping Department, attended the technical school for mechanical engineering before getting a degree in mechanical engineering. He joined Electro Terminal in March 2021, initially as an assistant to our Chief Operating Officer. In the fall of the same year, he took over the management of the Stamping Department. He is now responsible for 20 employees, who work in 3-shift operation.

“We produce 500 million contact parts from steel and non-ferrous metal strips on 23 high-tech stamping and bending machines every year. Most of them are further processed in the in-house production department. Sensitive handling of the machines and tools is required. Many stamping parts are only a few millimeters in size. For tool overhauls and spare parts, our department is perfectly supported by our own Tool Shop.

Sustainability is paramount in the Stamping Department. Whenever we plan new projects, we ensure the economical use of materials and resources. For example, cutting oils are processed in-house and returned to the production cycle.
