ENEC
Many Electro Terminal products are ENEC certified. But what does this mean exactly? Unlike CE, ENEC is not assigned by manufacturers themselves. So, it’s not just a label that can easily be applied. To become ENEC certified, a test by an independent test institute, which is approved by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, is required.
The examination covers the following points:
- Does the product meet EN safety standards and performance test requirements?
- Does the manufacturer work with the ISO 9000 quality assurance system?
- Are end products checked again every two years?
- Is there a documented, continuous production control?
A manufacturer may only use the ENEC certification mark if all of these points are rated positively. This guarantees high quality and safety standards for electrical products. The following Electro Terminal products carry the ENEC certification mark:
